Scoring a solid 90 according to Cigar Aficionado Magazine, this stick measures a solid 6.5″ (16.5 cm) and 46 ring size. Binder, filler, and wrapper are all Nicaraguan. Box pressed and designed to draw, taste, and feel like silk. It’s medium-to-full-bodied, rich with hints of cocoa and sweet anise, and with a nice finish. It can easily be a two-hour, conversational cigar. The only drawback is the price; but even for $13 US, it’s worth it if you’re up for a bit of vacation. (A bit more subtle flavor than the La Gloria Cubana Serie R, No. 7 Maduro. If you liked that one, though, you’ll be most impressed.)
