Spring Break 2006

Posted By Michael On 12th March 2006 @ 21:27 In general, personal | No Comments

You always hear about people going to Cancun and watching girls dance around in fig-leaf-sized bikinis, sipping too-strong margaritas all day long. That, I’m here to tell you, was nowhere near my spring break, but it was probably more fulfilling, if not quite as … sunburnish.

I spent three days in my mom’s yard picking up limbs and spreading twenty bales of pine straw with a friend (we were paid well; this was not charity work, however poorly that fact may reflect on me!); another few days hanging out with said friend; and then suddenly it was Sunday and I was exhausted.

That said, I figure I can take a total of nine days off in a year from posting (from the sixth of this month to the eleventh, inclusive, plus the three days in February I was too swamped to care). Look for more posts this month.
