on (not) getting things done

01:59:24 :: [personal] :: 153 words

One of the most profound revelations I’ve had so far this year is the pile of work I’ve been planning to get done: the papers in the corner that have been collecting dust since I moved in; the pile of random snippets I’ve been meaning to blog about but can’t seem to get motivated about; the books that have been piling up on the back of my toilet for some reason, just waiting for some bout of unimaginable g.i. distress; the emails languishing in my inbox as though forgotten (I haven’t died, TC & NBR, I promise)!

Case in point? I checked out Camus’ Notebooks in August, originally; and some of the juiciest tidbits are hanging around my admin backend, waiting patiently. This will no doubt pick up as the semester begins (again).

Here’s to more production on this end so as to improve the quality of writing on your end.
