what a day

00:35:06 :: [personal] :: 148 words

Took a five-hour nap yesterday; got up at like 22:30 and, while talking to friends on AIM, ate three raw jalapeņos and a habaņero (and got so dizzy subsequently that I nearly passed out, but not until the latter), and got a distressing call from one of my best friends this morning in the wee hours. Subsequently ended up oversleeping and was told by my boss not to bother coming in today or tomorrow, and to give him a call later in the week. It’s a real disappointment; I really enjoyed that job, and now, if I am fired, I obviously won’t be able to afford a new car anytime soon. I’m thankful for the lesson, though; it hit me today that I hadn’t tithed any of the income from that job. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord!

    Why did you get fired?! That really sucks! I’m sorry, that’s really dissapointing I know. Hope everything works out okay.
