how to tell someone you don’t love them anymore
Don’t. Leave them if you must, if you’re not wed to them, but either you’re fooling yourself or you’re going to be shattering someone’s heart needlessly by adding to the mix a statement of what amounts to either apathy or hatred.
Brothers Karamazov MBTI
Now, that’s an interesting query. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, or MBTI, is an invaluable tool—based on Carl Jung’s understanding of personality—for determining the basic outline of someone’s personality. Based on four dichotomous relationships within a person, it will tell you, if you’re honest, whether you are more introverted or more extraverted; whether you dwell in the concrete or in the abstract; whether you are led by your feelings or by your reasoning in tough decisions; and whether you tend to like closed-ended or open-ended situations (and more).
You can look up the following descriptions either on TypeLogic, TypeTango or any other reputable Jungian typology site:
I would say that Alyosha (Alexey) is an INFP, a quiet, sensitive champion of children, “the widows and the fatherless.” Dmitri is an explosive, live-in-the-moment-carried-by-your-feelings kind of guy, so he’s almost certainly an ESFP or perhaps ESFJ (so is my mother, though, so it’s important to remember that you can’t draw moral or character judgments just from Jungian typology!). Ivan Karamazov and I share a love of abstract thought, reflection unrestrained: INTP. Smerdyakov, a silent, calculating and highly situationally-aware individual, probably shares the type of the “Ideal Soldier”: ISTJ.
Great query!
artec bankruptcy
Heh, oops. I’ll bet you got here because of my Untitled story about Marc. The “Artec” mentioned in the story has no relation to any Artec actually in existence, but is rather an expression of the dichotomy of pursuits I felt was before me in my junior year at high school: “art” versus “technology”.
Liquid Highway espresso
This one caught my eye because I used to work at Liquid Highway for a time. Unless they’ve changed recently, Liquid Highway’s coffees all come from Counter Culture Coffee in Durham, North Carolina, a highly reputable shade-growing organic plantation from which no bitter brew springs. You can trust Counter Culture’s espresso—and thus that of Liquid Highway—to be fresh and of the highest quality.
is rap music/videos psychologically damaging to children
Yes. Moving on…. But seriously though, I was talking to some friends about this, just to get their take, since I don’t really listen to or watch rap or its videos and they were thoroughly immersed in the culture, and even they conceded that it harmed kids—one gentleman said, “Think about it: what was unacceptable in the eighties is okay now, just because 50 Cent does it, or whatever.” Good point.
karamazov trinity
I know someone who’s adept at addressing trinitarian issues. I wonder if he’ll say something about this.
can ginger cause impotence in males
No, but it may cause aggression in male rats. Maybe if you have chicken stir-fry, some oatmeal with honey, and some chocolate-dipped strawberries all in a row, you’ll have enough aphrodisiac effect to find out whether it does or not, no?
getting even with a lover who has cheated on you
This is like the first one, and the answer is the same: Don’t. If you really loved them to begin with, you will be stabbing yourself in the soul along with him/her. Revenge, served hot or cold, has as its main ingredients the lifeblood and the integrity of the avenger.
