[DEPRECATED: The old link at www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q3998142/pcchips/pccjs.html no longer works. Manuals can still be found at the pcchipsusa.com site.]
In the ongoing saga of the E206922 PS-1 PC Chips motherboards that are unfortunately not marked at all, I found this great site where you can figure out what motherboard model you have by plugging in information. For instance, Sanju has a PC Chips M747 according to this chart, a version 5.0 since it’s the only 1999 model. Fortunately, that doesn’t matter in this case, since according to the PC Chips discontinued manuals page, all manuals for M747 are the same.
This is the 36-page PDF for M747, all versions.
By popular demand (and innumerable search queries), I’ll do what I can to help out. I must say, though, I’ve since thrown out the old motherboard, so this is the best I can do so far. HTH!

¡Hola, Luis! ¿Usted está solicitando ayuda para encontrar la información para este modelo? (Perdon mi español pobre.)
I have limited computer skill, your information looks like what I need to be up and running soon
Errr, where is this great site?

Hey Steve,
It sounds like you have a problem that is unrelated to the motherboard. If you’re getting a General Protection Fault that halts the system, you may have a driver conflict that is unrelated to the motherboard; I think this is supposed to work with Win98 and Win98SE just fine. You also may have a virus. Check Symantec or McAfee for more info. Hope that helps!
E206922 PS-1… where can I download a driver for this please?
do the pc chips lottery then pic the result that looks the most like urs, go to the pc chips website and to products>mainboard>archive and search the page for the part number, if it doesnt come up remove the letter on the end eg search for m123 rather than m123lmr
I dont have anything written on the mother board.

I was given this same board and have been trying to find a manual for it.
The link given doesn’t work anymore, and I’ve checked the pcchips website.
They don’t have anything listed for a socket 423 and my board has no model#.
It’s version is 1.3. Any idea where I could find a manual for it?
The best resource I’ve found for this so far, guys, is here:

Just pulled 2 new MOBO’s from stock. Both are labled E206922 PS-1. Box is labled PC Chips
DDR 266 SystemBoard. Manual inside is for an AMD Socket A M841 Series. Checked with PC Chips
website and found that the M841/M841L v 1.3 dated January 2002 are for the AMD XP/Athlon/Duron
CPU’s.
Athlon XP: 1500+ ~ 2000+; FSB: 266MHz
Athlon/Duron: 500MHz ~ 1.4GHz; FSB: 200MHZ, 266MHz
The mainboard has a socket-462 that supports AMD K7 processors. Do not try to install a
Socket-370/Socket-7 processor, such as the PPGA Celeron, FCPGAPIII, Pentium-MMX, or the
AMD K5/K6 processors. They will not fit in a Socket-462. Go to PC Chips website for drivers.
I have almost the same board socket 370 686 AMIBIOS BA23 5009 SIS 900 PLD 4841. E206922 PS-1 on the bottom. I am trying to find the manual and schematics. does anyone know if this is the same board with the same manual. Looked everywhere finding no luck. please help

@2007: Where is this pcchips lottery?
Morgan, your guess is as good as mine; thanks for the reminder. I’ve updated the post to reflect the code rot that has seemingly swept the PC Chips Lottery off the web.
My guess is that the manufacturer is off in some gritty workroom in China, where dogfood is made from melamine, dumplings from cardboard, shrimp are loaded with salmonella, toys have lead paint and tires separate. They apparently make several socket types on the same motherboard, all labeled the same…E206922 PS-1 Mine sounds like those described by John Childress above; it has a socket 462 on it. A large, gold-colored heat sink on a chip says TBird AMD K7, but th-th-that’s all. I’ll probably install it in something one day and run some diagnostic programs on it to see what they can tell. Good luck, all.
got a board out of a ecs g733 same part number but you guys seem to be talkng about desktops this is a notebook ,maybe this number is a generic range and not a part number?
I have a brand new MB with the same markings (or lack of) as ya’ll…
Mine has the E206922 PS-1 on the back and nothing on the front cept the complies with Canada info..
AMIBIOS dated 1999 AU02, Socket PGA370, onboard LAN & Sound, 2 memory slots, 3 PCI slots
FREE if anyone wants it, otherwise I will toss it out! email me, levipre@hotmail.com if you want it! Merry Christmas!!!

Just a small tip I found out about these boards. It seems that if you use a magnifying glass, and look on the little sitcker on the left side of the BIOS CHIP - you will see the number of the board. I have bought onerecently, just for testing. In my case, it was a socker 462 (AMD DURON/ATHLON), ans the sticker showed as M810LM V7.1a. Then if you go to the PCCHIPS Taiwainese website, there IS info on this board, plus many others like it.
Try: http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWebSite/Downloads/Category_Download.aspx?MenuID=6&LanID=0 then fill in or select form the drop-downs. TD.
BTW - I forgot to say - the M810LM comes out as the M810L on the TW site referred to previously.
I am not of the differences between M810L and the M810LU. The link on “how to identify the MB” does not work I am afraid. It is a shame that the info is so difficult to find, and the site is not that well maintained. as these cheap MB are OK for small cheap student PC’s, or for testing peripherals, or checking out software.
TD.
Thanks TD1947. Knowing where to look for the m/b model no. was a great help. It was the same as the one you quoted, as it happens.
